Three Norton Lancers and Head Coach Selected to the Shriner All-Star Classic

Norton, MA- For the first time in Norton Football History, Three Norton Football players have been selected to play in the Shriner All-Star Classic.

Nathaniel Thomasson-DT, Dolan Wilke-LB and Hunter Murphy-TE have been selected to represent Norton on June 19th at 7pm in a location TBD.  These players were originally nominated by their head coach and then chosen by a committee to represent the South in this All-Star Game,  This is the first time that three players from Norton have been selected for this honor.

To add to the list of Norton firsts,TVL Coach of the Year Jim Artz has been selected to be the head coach for the South team in the prestigious game.  When asked about the honor, Coach Artz stated, "This has been an incredible first season and any honors that have been given to me are a direct result of this team and their hard work."  Coach Artz talked about the three Norton Lancers selected and it's historic significance to the overall program.  "To have three Lancers in this game is an incredible feat for Nate, Dolan and Hunter.  Each of these players will represent Norton with great pride and are quality examples or our program.  These types of opportunities are a perfect example of what Norton Lancer Football can give to our players."

We will announce when an official location has been determined.  These players will be working together for a week long stretch leading up to the All-Star Game.  In addition, they will be a part of a banquet that will celebrate their accomplishments as well as show the incredible work done by the Shriners.  For more information on the Shriner Classic and all that the Shriners do, please check out the link below.  Congratulations to Nathaniel, Dolan, Hunter and Coach Arts on this honor!!
